I am Mrs Carol Cheetham and I am part of the Senior Leadership team. I joined St Stephens in September 1999 as a Year 5 teacher and leader of key stage 2 mathematics.
I have enjoyed working in this wonderful school and have strong working relationships with governors, staff, parents and children. Whilst being at the school I have had many roles but currently I am the leader of the upper school, mathematics and disadvantaged children.
I was elected to be the staff governor in October 2006 and now stand on the Curriculum and Resource Committees. My main role within the governing body is to represent the staff of the school and make a positive contribution to informing the governors about progress and standards. I attend all the committee meetings that take place as well as the full governing body meetings and meet with staff and governors when necessary.
I look forward to continuing to make a strong contribution to a dedicated and professional governing body, that works hard to ensure that all the children at St Stephens Primary School are given a rich and varied curriculum, in which they can reach their true potential.
