Please can parents make sure that the children have a pair of wellies in school for when use our outdoor garden. It is also a good idea to have a spare pair of socks.

Key Workers

Each child is assigned a Key Worker when they start Nursery. Each day the children spend time with their Key Workers where they participated in various activities.

Monday - sharing a book or their news journals

Tuesday - playing games to develop PSED skills

Wednesday - music

Sharing Book

Throughout the week the child's Key Worker will write what each child has been doing at nursery in the child's Sharing Book. The Sharing Book is sent home every Friday for parents to have a look at what their child has done in Nursery throughout the week. Parents have the opportunity to write in the Sharing Book over the weekend which children bring back to school on a Monday to discuss in their Key Worker sessions.

Reading Books

Every Friday children take home a reading book which they can share with their family. Parents are encouraged to talk to the children about the book and discuss the pictures/characters. Children return these books on Mondays to be shared in Key Worker time and changed.
