Bonfire Night

Today we discussed how to keep safe on Bonfire night and took our learning outside. We used the gardening tools to collect leaves and create our own bonfire. We collected as many as we could to create a tall bonfire.
We used leaves as tickets to give to people to attend our bonfire and used sticks as sparklers.

We remembered our bonfire night safety rules well. The children pretended to put gloves on before waving their sparklers around, we made sure that a grown up set the fireworks up, we kept all our pets inside and kept back from the bonfire. 
The children enjoyed being our fireworks, making the sounds and movements with their bodies.
