Friday 15th May

Hi Everyone

Here is the work for Friday. Well done, we are at the end of another week. Hope you are okay .

First Session _ Grammar and Spelling

Please go over the twenty words you have had this week and get someone to test you on them. Keep your score in your exercise book and relearn any you have got wrong.

Today we are learning about punctuation. Click below. Look at the different forms of punctuation and punctuate the following sentences and passages. Write in your exercise book.

Second Session

Based on all the inventions you have looked at throughout the week, select your favourite one.

Imagine you have been asked to create an adcertisement to sell this invention on the TV, in a similar way to Shouty Man on Horrible Histories. If you are unfamiliar with Shouty Man, a complilation of his adverts can be found here :

Write a script for your advert. Think about including persuasive features in your script such as : the intervention benefits, appealing adjectives, snappy slogan , facts and offers. If possible, once you have written your script , you may choose to video the advert to send to me.

Third Session

Fluency - TT Rockstars

Login to TT Rockstars and challenge yourself to knowing as many timestables as you can !

Then we are continuing with decimals. Watch the video and you can either put the answers in your book or print off the sheet and write your answers on it. Click below.

Then press the - ( minus ) on Summer term Week 4 ( w/c 11th May ) in the right hand corner. Then press Summer Term - Week 2 (w/c 27th April ) Lesson 1 - Adding decimals with the same number of decimal places.
