Worship

Autumn 1

During this half term in worship, we looked at the story of Jesus forgiving Peter for denying their friendship three times. We made a fish out of willow from our environmental area to remind us of Peter the fisherman, and that you can be forgiven if you are willing to put things right as Peter did by spreading the word of Jesus.

PSHE

Autumn 1

In PSHE this half term, we have been looking at building teamwork within our class. The first challenge was to see who could build the biggest tower when given the same materials as a group.

The next challenge was to be able to lead our partner (whose eyes were closed) around different assault courses. This helped to build communication and listening skills.

PE

Autumn 1

In PE this half term, we are beginning to learn how to orienteer. We have made a start by using our own school playground, field and environmental area as the setting for our first map reading challenge.

Outdoor Learning

Autumn 1

Linked to our worship, we used our environmental area to forage for different plants and natural objects that could help us create our fish in remembrance of Peter the fisherman.
