Thursday 4th June 2020.

Activities to complete today (if you can):

Click on Week 6, Lesson 2 – Multiply mixed numbers by integers. Watch the video, do the activity, mark your answers. If you have any questions, or are struggling in some way – please get in contact with myself on Dojo and I will try my best to help you! The questions and answer sheets are on the ‘Attachments’ section of today’s work on our school class page.

(Remember – if this material to too hard for your child at this stage in their development or without the resources they would have access to in school – please do not worry about doing this. You are also welcome to try lower year group work if you feel this would be beneficial. Please contact me if you think this applies to yourself.)

p.s. Please message me to let me know when you have done your maths work – it is nice to see it, as I cannot see it like I could on Purple Mash. Thanks!

Writing Task – This week we are continuing to focus on the infamous voyage of the Titanic that we looked at last week.

Please read this information page entitled ‘Why did the Titanic sink?’ – you only need to read page one: 5/Centricity/Domain/4211/why_did_titanic_sink%20worksheet%20from%20net.pdf

After reading each account of who was to blame, decide who you think was responsible for the sinking – this may be one person or a combination of a few people.

Your task - Imagine you have been asked to join a debate about who was to blame for the sinking of Titanic. Write down who you think was/were responsible giving your reasons. You may wish to add supporting facts based on what you have read over the past week. Remember to read back through your work and check your spelling and punctuation.

RE – Sunday that has just gone was WhitSun, the day where the Holy Spirit came down from Heaven to the Apostles. Please read the first paragraph of the second page and complete the activity on the attachment called ‘Off the shelf Pentecost’.

Remember, if you are not sure or need any help with anything on here – just contact myself on Dojo.
