Here is your work for today.

First Session - Spelling and Grammar

Please take the next five words off the year 5/6 spelling list ( occupy , occur, opportunity, parliament and persuade ) Learn what they mean and how to spell them. Write each word in a sentence and put it in your exercise book.

Today we are learning about expanded noun phrases in grammar. Click below. Watch the video and do activity one. If you want to challenge yourself further, you can do activity two and three also.

Please put in your exercise book.

Second Session

Now read and watch about deadly animals. For each animal, jot down any words or phrases that grab your attention as you go :

Fluency - Multiples and Factors

Today we are going to carry on with decimals.

3. Scroll down and click on year 5 ( Pink box )

4. Click on week 1 and Do lesson 2 - Decimals as fractions

5. Play the video and do the sheet.

You can either put your answers in the book or print off the sheet and write your answers on it. Then check the answers !


Fourth Session

Science Objective : To recognise the impact of diet , exercise, drugs and lifestyle on the way their bodies function.


Facts about Smoking

Read the facts about smoking and use these facts to make a poster warning people about the dangers of smoking.

Fifth Session - Fitness

Do some exercise. Google PE with Joe Tuesday 28th April and take part. Enjoy !
