Y6 Visit to the Fulwood Talk English Class

Our Year 6 children brought Christmas cheer to the Talk English class at St Cuthberts in Fulwood this week.  There were so many languages in the room and we celebrated the language of love by sharing gifts, singing songs together and playing games.  The children presented the Talk English students, many of whom are asylum seekers and refugees, with a gift bag and we celebrated our diversity of language.  We were proud of Mrs Tagari who told us that she can speak 5 languages altogether  - well done Mrs Tagari!  Our children shared the languages that they can speak as collectively, there are more than 15 languages spoken in the year 6 class.
