SEND

Our SEND Co-ordinator is Mrs Haughton, who is available to speak to parents and families on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. You can contact Mrs Haughton on our school telephone, 01772 556306. If Mrs Haughton is not available to take your call, there is the option of leaving a voicemail message which will be responded to at the earliest opportunity. You can also email senco@st-stephens.lancs.sch.uk

For any concerns about SEND provision in school please contact the Senco, Mrs Haughton, in the first instance.  You may choose to escalate a concern with the headteacher.  If this is the case then please refer to the Complaints Policy which can be accessed in the Key Information area, under policies.

The IAS (Information Advice and Support) service is also available to support parents/carers of pupils with SEND - please see the first link in the useful links section below.

The school is committed to improving the curriculum and the school environment so that pupils with SEND have access to the curriculum and also make the best progress possible.  The school's access plan can be downloaded below and this identifies the plan for curriculum and building developments.
