Life in Preschool (term time only, 38 weeks a year)

Our Preschool is available for children the term after your child turns 3 years old. For example if your child is 3 in May, they can start in our pre-school in the autumn term, September. We offer 15 hours free childcare as standard and 30 hours for families working full time, with a valid 30 hour code. Additional sessions can be booked, please see below.

Our Preschool sessions are as follows:

  • Full Time provision (8.45 am - 2.45 pm)

  • Morning sessions (8.45 am - 11.45 am)

  • Afternoon sessions (12.15 pm - 3.15 pm)

  • Sessions above 15 hours a week are charged at £15 per 3 hours and lunch time cover (not included in the 15 or 30 hours) is £2 per day.

We also offer wraparound care at an additional cost from 7.45am to 6pm.

Breakfast club starts at 7.45am and is £5 or a shorter session can be booked for £2 from 8.30am.

After School Club is until 4pm £3, 5pm £7 and 6pm £9.50. All bookings to be made on school spider and paid for at time of booking.

A school dinner can be purchased for £2.70 per day.

We do not charge for resources but do ask families to provide a change of clothes, nappies and wipes for their child. We do not provide these.

If you would like to see if your child is eligible for 30 hours free childcare and apply for the funding, you can do so on the Lancashire County Council website.
