Anti-bullying Week and Celebrating Children in Need

It’s been Anti-bullying Week this week and one where we all learned to speak out about bullying, in all of its forms.  To celebrate Children in Need and anti-bullying week with wacky hair and clothing was a great way to end the week.  Thank you for your donations and for dressing your children in bright and wacky clothes today!

On Monday, the Open the Book team performed a special drama where we learned the importance of making the best choices – honesty, kindness and care for others.  Over Anti-bullying Week we reflected that learning to manage our feelings when we feel hurt will stop fighting, hurtful words and aggression.  Our Year 2 class have invited families to watch a special assembly today where they continue to share the message of living in peace with one another and where leaders work hard to bring peace in their communities.  Thank you Year 2 for the hard work you have put in to share an important message today!
