Bulb Planting in the Environmental Area

We would like to say a massive thank you to everyone who came to plant bulbs this Wednesday in our environmental area. The weather was dry and we enjoyed a hot chocolate with a biscuit in our new worship area. The bulbs were planted in the shape of crosses and we have both winter and spring bulbs which we look forward to seeing in bloom in due course.

The children who came to plant bulbs told us that worshipping outdoors is great as the air is fresh, they are around nature and they don't feel hot and cramped in the school hall. We hope to make the most of this area and are already looking forward to Easter worship in the spring, in particular when our bulbs turn into daffodil and crocus plants.
