Easter Enrichment and Art Projects

Our children produced the most amazing art work for Easter this year. Each class had a stage of the Easter story to translate into a beautiful artwork. Specific artists were chosen and the children were invited to explore the artists' work. They experimented with colour, shape and form which helped to develop their drawing and painting skills.  

The artworks were loaned to St Stephen's church over the Easter holiday but have now been returned to school. Many pieces have been framed and are on display in the corridors. You can watch a video about this here

Our Reception pupils visited St Stephen's church on Tuesday 28th March where they took part in special fun activities to learn more about the Easter Story.
