Mosque Visit

We were excited to be invited to the Masjid-e-Saliheen this week.  Children throughout school visited this beautiful new building to learn more about how worship takes place there.  Some of our children were able to explain what they learn in Madrassah and to show the importance of washing (ablution) before prayer (wudu) and the particular prayers that are said.

We are grateful to the Imams for enabling the children to experience this and for enriching our learning in R.E.  We are also thankful to the parents and carers who volunteered to accompany the children on the short walk to the mosque.
