Smart Abacus

Welcome to the smart abacus page!

Who: Kiran Krishnamoorthyh runs our Year 3 smart abacus club. It is open to anyone in Year 3.

What: The smart abacus club is for anyone who wants to improve their arithmetic. If your child has any interest in learning maths - no matter how much experience they have - they are welcome to join.

Where: In the Year 3/4 classroom.

When: Every Tuesday 3.20 - 4.15.

Why: We want our children to be confident mathmaticians. Smart abacus teaches children arithmetic skills and they learn how to use the smart abacus to calculate numbers whilst having fun.

Your child does need a permission letter to take part. Any child interested just needs to speak to Mrs Cheetham and express and interest.
